Passage of Time

from $330.00

limited edition of 5

 Werri Lagoon, Gerringong

In my photographic endeavours, I delight in discovering unconventional subjects that can command the attention of the image. One day, my lens was drawn to an aging fence post at Werri Lagoon, standing as a silent witness to the passage of time. Employing a deliberately slow shutter speed, I skilfully captured the rhythmic movement of the lagoon's water, transforming its surface into a seamless, tranquil canvas.

As the shutter lingered open, I pondered the rich history embedded in the weathered grains of the old wooden fence post. Imagining the stories it could tell, I marvelled at the countless moments it had witnessed through the ages. The juxtaposition of the timeless post against the dynamic, flowing waters created a visual narrative that transcended the immediate scene, inviting viewers to contemplate the interconnectedness of nature and the enduring relics of the past.
