The inspiration for the title of this image harks back to the original name of Werri Beach, predating its subdivision into Gerringong estate. What captivates me in this particular scene is the enchanting ballet of water coursing through a channel on the southern stretch of Werri Beach. Employing a deliberate technique with a slower shutter speed, I endeavoured to immortalise the rhythmic dance of the waves as they gracefully navigated the channel during the serene hours of sunrise. The play of light and shadows, coupled with the subtle blur of the moving water, creates a visual symphony that not only pays homage to the beach’s historical roots but also captures the timeless allure of nature in perpetual motion.
