Low Tide

from $330.00

Location: Werri Beach, Gerringong

At the northern tip of Werri Beach, after a recent storm, the landscape had transformed remarkably. The storm's force had uncovered a fascinating array of rocks and an old concrete pipe, usually hidden beneath the sand. Intrigued, I timed my visit for low tide, allowing me to walk along this newly revealed path. My goal was to capture the raw beauty of these exposed rocks against the dynamic swell of the ocean. To truly do justice to the scene, I opted for a slower shutter speed in my photography. This technique would not only seize the detail of the rocks but also artistically blur the movement of the water, creating a sense of motion and life in the image. This careful blend of timing, technique, and nature's unpredictability promised a unique and captivating photographic opportunity.
