Day 75: Dawn's Radiant Symphony at Werri Beach

On Day 75, the dawn brought an unexpected performance—a sunrise that far exceeded the modest expectations set by the previous day's weather. With the southerly winds having left a scattering of clouds across the sky, there was a hopeful chance for a radiant morning display.

Prompted by the evolving palette above, I ventured towards the southern end of Werri Beach, where the rock platform awaited as my stage. Initially, my wide-angle lens sought to encapsulate the expanse, eager to capture the impending interplay of light and shadows.

However, as the sun commenced its ascent, peeking between the cloud breaks, the scene called for a change in the narrative. I switched to my 85mm lens, allowing for a more intimate and focused study of the sun's rays piercing through the morning sky, turning it into a molten cascade.

Positioned strategically behind the ocean pool, my focus shifted to where the drama intensified—the tip of the rocks. Here, the waves surged and broke with relentless energy, a spectacle that reminded me of the ocean's perpetual rhythm.

As the elements converged, I was reminded that every sunrise holds a promise, and this morning was a testament to that. The resulting images—a testament to the ever-changing, ever-astonishing art that nature unveils to those who are present to witness it.

Stay tuned as I unveil the full array of shots from this golden hour spectacle, where each frame tells a story of the ocean's enduring dance with the dawn.
