Day 25: A Pastoral Ballet from Above

Following the hustle of the previous day, Day 25 beckoned me to embrace the tranquillity of familiar surroundings. With the cows leisurely grazing in the house paddock, it was the perfect moment for a serene project close to home. I decided to capture the pastoral scene from a novel perspective, sending my drone skyward while ensuring a peaceful distance from the contented herd below.

There's a unique pleasure in observing cows as they step onto fresh grass, a delight that's amplified when viewed from above. From the drone's eye, the cows became elegant dancers in an emerald theatre, each with their own rhythm and path, their black and white patterns interspersed like notes on a musical score against the vibrant green pasture.

The top-down perspective offered a fresh take on a subject I've come to know intimately. The aerial view transformed the everyday scene into a living canvas, with the cows' paths etching temporary trails that spoke of freedom and the simple joys of life. The lone russet cow amidst its monochrome peers added a splash of contrast, a reminder of individuality within the community.

This image is a testament to the beauty that can be found in the everyday when we choose to look at it from a new angle. It celebrates the bucolic charm of farm life and the gentle harmony of nature's creatures.

Join me as I continue to explore the art of the ordinary, finding splendour in the everyday and the pleasure of different perspective.
